Technical Difficulties

Seasons Greetings!!

The pictures you are seeing are the Christmas gifts I made for my siblings. I'm so happy to finally be able to post these ! I hope you enjoy them. I had a lot of fun making them and coming up with details to add.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I got some really cool gifts: gnome bag, chihuahua coin purse, Chinese New Year ornaments (I hung them under a geisha picture my mom cross stitched for me.) I also got some books and other awesome stuff.

Now to the technical difficulties. I purchased a laptop this weekend. And it's been wreaking havoc on my webpage. Hopefully it's just because this laptop has a widescreen and that's what's messing it up. But if it's not just me, I am working on making the website less messed up.

Happy Holidays!

So Many Projects!

I finally finished something new! I made this little guy for my Rudolph obsessed sister. I really hope she'll like it. I'm pretty sure she will. However, the antlers kind of look like wings.....

I also realized how many projects I either have started or want to do:

1. Finish the Union Jack afghan I've been working on for a year.

2. Make another Snowball the Ornament.

3. Make Leonardo (TMNT) for my sister.

4. Make kiwi scarf for me.

5. Make new merchandise for my Etsy store.

Also be on the look out for new pictures on my website of Christmas gifts I made for my sisters and brother. After Christmas of course.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Frightened Fruit Kabob

Meet the newest addition to my Etsy Shop. They're amigurumi fruits made into a fruit kabob. On the skewer are: kiwi, strawberry, purple grape, green grape, and a cherry. The seeds on the kiwi and strawberry are hand embroidered. The fruit is also screaming in fear as they anticipate they're pending doom.
Be sure to check out the shop for other new merchandise listed this weekend! I will also be working on a couple more Snowball ornaments to list tonight.
Enjoy!

Appetizer

Above is a appetizer for the next project I'm working on for my Etsy shop. With any luck, I'll get it done and be able to list it next week. I have a couple more fruits to make, then some finishing touches.
Yesterday, my mom, sister, and I went shopping in Sioux falls. I spent way more than I should have, but not as much as other times. I just wish I lived closer to SF. Oh well. My sister and I went to the Golden Compass. It was ok, but not as good as all the hype. Atleast I went to it and now know!
I should keep working. Look for another Snowball the Ornament in my shop soon!
Stay warm!

My Crochet Idol

Hello, Hello!

I love Twinkie Chan! She's my idol. I hope someday, I can be as good as her. Her scarves and creations are amazing. And the only place I've seen them is online. I can't even imagine how awesome they'd be in person. Definitely check them out if you have a chance. She really takes crocheting to a whole new level. Who would have thought you could wear a salad or a chicken leg as a scarf?

I think my favorite item of hers is her hotdog purse. She sells her goods on Ebay and On Cherry Lane.

Be sure to check her out!

Old is New Again

I don't have any exciting projects I'm working on at the moment. However, I do have to show off something I acquired this summer. A craft store was going out of business in a nearby town. (Sad.) I scored a couple displays the store used for their pattern books. I now have a mini craft store in my bedroom. And.....

This magazine rack. I really like it. It gets my magazines off the floor, or cabinets, and kinda makes an "art" statement. As you can tell, I'm a big fan of NYLON. It's my favorite magazine!

I'm happy to report I've made some progress on that doll I referred to a while ago. I also plan on making something else for my Etsy shop. In the meantime, I've listed another Snowball the Ornament.

Have a good night!

Orange You Going to Stop Bye and Say Hello?

Hi again!
Well, we got our first big snow of the season. So to "celebrate" I thought summer and whipped up this orange. I think he turned out pretty good! And orange is my favorite color. He never spoils and is now available in my Etsy shop.
Happy Holidays everyone!
