It was Mom's idea to put bunny ears on the duckie. I think it turned out really good! It's so cute, I might make one for myself. But I have to finish a baby phoenix as a house warming gift for my sister first. My goal is to finish it tonight. We'll see how that goes!

Happy Daytona 500!!

Hello all you Nascar fans out there that read this! (Which is really only 1, that I know of anyway. Hi Holly!)

Are we all excited for the Daytona 500? I am! I'm kind of nervous too. One of my drivers (I have 3.), Jimmie Johnson is starting on the pole. So atleast he'll be out front for maybe a lap. My other two drivers are Kasey Kahne and Brian Vickers. I'm pessimistic and am wondering how soon into the race they (all 3) will crash. I think I've cursed them by being their fans. Sorry guys.

Anywho, I've been working on some more duckies to add to my shop. One listing will be a set of 2 duckies. One of them is almost done. I am also working on an Easter Edition duckie. It was my mom's idea and will hopefully be super cute. Time will tell! Speaking of my shop, I should also really make another skunk or other animal so that way I don't have a full on duckie shop.

And speaking of other animal, I am trying to make a ninja turtle for my sister. But so far, I'm stumped on the head. And I've been a terrible sister and am kind of putting off working on it. Maybe I'll get some done this week. I honestly believe the hardest parts will be the head and the shell.

Finally done!!

My whopper of an afghan is finally done! Ever since I bought a red futon, I've been wanting a Union Jack afghan to put on it. I started working on it last year and some things started coming before it. But I finally finished it last night. Yeah!

I think I can, I think I can

Ever since I was a little girl, I've wanted to learn how to play guitar. About 3 years ago, I finally bought myself one! Whoohoo, right? The thing is, it takes a while and is kind of hard to teach yourself how to play guitar. I have a whole library of books on learning to play the guitar. I start trying to learn with these books, but eventually, I decide I'm much better at crocheting and the guitar learning falls by the wayside. And I keep thinking to myself, if I would have just stuck with it right away, I might be fairly good or at least know kind of know what I'm doing by now.

So this weekend, I've decided I'm going to start learning how to play guitar again. I was fairly good when I first started three years ago. Well fairly good in a beginner sort of way. So we'll see how it goes!

Is there anyone out there that would be able to give me some tips on this whole guitar playing thing?

My First Treasury!

Hello again everyone!

I snagged my first treasury tonight. This is actually the first time I tried to get a treasury, so I'm pretty proud of myself. Although, it didn't seem that hard to get... Then again I was waiting for an hour or so. Oh well, it's worth it. I hope everyone likes it! (I don't know how to make it an image, so it'll have to be an ugly hyperlink. My apologies.)

I should start on another animal during the Superbowl tonight. However, I'm thinking it will be a perfect opportunity to make some progress on the Union Jack afghan. I have 16 rows left. Yeah! There's hope I may finally finish it!

Happy Superbowl everyone!
